Terms of Service
Last updated: November 2, 2026
These terms govern your use of MV Buddy at mvbuddy.com. By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms. If you disagree, do not use the service. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
1. Eligibility and accounts
1.1 You must be at least 18 and authorized to enter this agreement, including on behalf of an organization. Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and report suspected unauthorized access through the contact channel published on our website.
2. Service and AI output
2.1 MV Buddy provides AI-assisted music video creation and related tools. Features may depend on availability, access approval and your plan. AI output can be inaccurate, similar to others’ output or unsuitable for your purpose. Review it before publishing and disclose AI involvement where required. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, unique output or any particular creative result.
3. Content and rights
3.1 You retain your rights in uploaded music, images, likenesses, lyrics and other materials. You must have the permissions needed to upload, process and publish them, including music, copyright, voice and likeness permissions. You grant us a non-exclusive license to host, process and transmit your content solely to provide, secure and maintain the service, including through necessary service providers. Marketing use requires your separate permission. Output rights depend on applicable law and any model conditions disclosed before use; commercial use does not remove your duty to clear third-party rights.
4. Acceptable use
4.1 Do not upload unlawful or infringing material, exploit children, create non-consensual intimate imagery, impersonate people deceptively or facilitate fraud, harassment or violence. Do not bypass access controls, interfere with the service, distribute malware or abuse accounts and promotions. We may restrict access or remove content on reasonable grounds of abuse, security risk or legal obligation; you may request review through our published contact channel.
5. Generation, retries and delivery
5.1 Check inputs, duration, model, format and estimated credits before confirming. Stages may be charged separately as disclosed. Edits, retries and regenerations you request may be new chargeable tasks rather than free corrections.
5.2 Queue estimates and previews are indicative. Network failures, provider limits and moderation can delay or prevent delivery. Keep task identifiers and request review of failed-task charges, duplicate deductions or inaccessible results.
6. Plans, credits and payments
6.1 Any paid purchase is governed by the price, currency, taxes, credit consumption, validity and renewal terms shown before checkout. Recurring billing applies only when expressly disclosed and authorized. Cancellation stops future renewals and normally leaves paid access until the period ends. Separately purchased and included credits follow their disclosed validity; these terms do not impose an undisclosed expiry. Statutory cancellation and refund rights prevail. For duplicate charges or failed paid tasks, request review; do not assume a successful payment or credit adjustment until confirmed.
7. Cancellation, refunds and payment disputes
7.1 Cancellation, refunds and account closure are separate actions. Cancellation normally stops the next renewal rather than reversing a current order. Resolve active subscriptions and export needed files before closing an account.
7.2 Refund eligibility follows conditions disclosed at purchase and applicable law. Provide transaction reference, payment time, issue and task identifiers, never full card numbers or passwords. Promotional credits have no cash value. Subjective dissatisfaction with a completed result is not necessarily a technical failure; statutory refund rights remain.
8. Platform rights and third parties
8.1 Our software, interface, trademarks, documentation and platform technology belong to us or our licensors. Access does not transfer ownership. Copying, reselling or bypassing security and usage limits requires legal permission or written authorization.
8.2 Third-party authentication, payments, models and external content may have separate terms. Importing a link does not establish rights to its content. Review external restrictions and privacy notices. Third-party conditions do not exclude our statutory responsibilities.
9. Data and privacy
9.1 We process account identifiers, profile details, uploaded media, prompts, task results, payment references and necessary security and usage logs to provide the service, maintain accounts, handle payments and prevent abuse. Firebase handles authentication; Stripe may process payments; infrastructure and AI providers receive the data needed for their tasks, potentially in other countries. We do not receive your full card details from Stripe. Use the contact channel on our website to request access, correction or deletion, subject to legal retention duties. Back up important files; account closure can end access, while limited records may be retained for legal, billing or security purposes. Non-essential tracking requires consent where applicable.
10. Changes, termination and liability
10.1 You may stop using the service and request account closure through our published contact channel. We may suspend or terminate access for material violations or legal requirements and give notice and an opportunity to resolve issues where practicable. Material changes to paid services or these terms will be notified in advance where required, with cancellation options under applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, the service is supplied as available without additional guarantees. Nothing excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.
11. Complaints and continuing effect
11.1 Rights complaints should identify affected works or persons, the content location, your rights and a reply address. We may request necessary evidence and handle notices, removals and reviews under applicable law. Do not submit false claims or unnecessary sensitive data.
11.2 If a clause is invalid, remaining clauses continue where lawful. Termination does not erase accrued payment obligations, lawful retention or rights and liabilities intended to survive. Supplementary arrangements cannot reduce non-waivable legal protections.
12. Questions and disputes
12.1 Use the contact information published on mvbuddy.com for service questions, rights complaints, privacy requests or disputes, identifying the relevant account or content without sending passwords. We will seek a reasonable resolution. These terms do not deprive consumers of mandatory local law protections or their right to bring claims before a competent court.
